Our agriturismo is in a beautiful part of the Piedmont region of Monferrato. It is an ideal place for those who love the countryside and the animals. If you like the full flavour and savour of traditional home cooking, associated with locally made wines, this is the perfect farmhouse for getting to know countryside people and experience their traditional way of life.

Swimming Pool and Activities
Besides the quietness of the life in the countryside and the clean air, you have also at your disposal the swimming pool, or you can walk in the woods and see horses and other animals in the fields. The swimming pool has a dressing-room, showers with hot water powered by solar panels, various wooden tables for those who want to make a sort of picnic. People can also lay down on the grass or use the deck-char and the sunshade; the children have a playing ground for their activities. The use of the swimming pool is free for those who have lunch, dinner or book one of our rooms.

Restaurant and Products
Amongst the best specialities that characterize Santina's cooking you can try risotto all'Amarant, agnolotti, pepper in bagna caoda, ham freshly cooked in the oven, rosted meat and the bruschette. Our Agritourism is an ideal environment for families and children, being in a romantic spot, in the green scenery of the countryside and wooden areas of Monferrato. It is well located, between Alessandria and Asti, with less than an hour distance from Milano, Torino and Genova. Our area is renown for its wines like Barbera, Dolcetto and Cortese del Monferrato. Our production includes, beside the Monferrato wine, jams, oil vegetable preserves, limoncino, fresh eggs, mustards from grapes, and many other home made products of high quality.

The Educational Farm
The Farm offers opportunities to learn how to make bread, how to transform milk into cheese and ricotta, how to manage a small horticultural garden; there is also a guided visit to the animals living in the farm. You can see the cows, the calf and the goats grazing freely in the meadow around the farm and you can approach and caress them. In the pond you can see geese, ducks and mallards; in the outhouse there are hens, chicks, rabbits, Maremma sheepdogs and cats. The produces of our kitchen garden and orchard express the creativity you find afterwards in our recipes.

Rooms
There are 4 rooms available with a total of 12 beds, all with bathroom, shower, TV, Internet WI-FI. In an annexe, 12 additional people can be accommodated with a bed & breakfast treatment. Lunch and dinner can be served in the internal hall or, during the good season, outside under the wisteria and grapes of the pergola, or around the pool. Pets are not allowed.
